Using Fonts Found in an AutoCAD File

I have a number of fonts that I have used with AutoCAD files in the past. Can I use these font styles in Chief Architect?

ANSWER

AutoCAD supports TrueType (.TTF) fonts and Shape File (.SHX) fonts, while Chief Architect supports TrueType (.TTF) fonts and Non-True Type (.FON) fonts.

If the font that you would like to use is a TrueType (.TTF) or Non-True Type (.FON) font, it may be compatible with Chief Architect after it has been installed to the appropriate location on your system. However, if the font is a Shape File (.SHX) font, it unfortunately is incompatible with Chief Architect and cannot be used.
